Villa Pojana in Pojana Maggiore
Built between 1550 and 1563 for Bonifacio Pojana, an influential member of
the Great Council of Venice, this is one of Palladio's greatest works thanks
both to its originality and its masterly design. The usual central portico
has been replaced by a pediment façade in which a "serliana" motif with
pillars has been inserted. |
