Villa Pisani in Bagnolo di Lonigo
Built by Palladio around 1541-2 for the three brothers Pisani, it was one of
his first works. The villa opened the collection of "villas for the Venetian
nobles" in the second book of his "Quattro libri sull'architettura". The
building, however is incomplete. The interior has frescoes by India. |
